The Ireland-Australia Qualifications Frameworks Project
The Ireland-Australia Qualifications Frameworks Project was an initiative of the Australian Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR), and the National Qualifications Authority of Ireland which set out to explore the possibility of a formal alignment of the Irish National Framework of Qualifications with the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).
The objective of the Project was to undertake a mapping exercise of the Irish and Australian qualifications frameworks. Within this context the Project set out to map a range of aspects of each framework in order to achieve a meaningful comparison between them. This report presents the outcome of the comparison process and is available from here.
